DEVELOPMENT & PARTNERSHIPS COORDINATOR
Yaegan is the Development and Partnerships Coordinator at Sporting Equals, his role involves to championing race equality and diversity within the sports industry including the workforce and boardrooms and is passionate about creating equal opportunities within diverse communities through sports. He is responsible for managing the LeaderBoard programme and overseeing the Sporting Equals Charter.
HOW DO I SUPPORT MEMBERS?
Yaegan supports Charter members by providing resources, tools, and training aimed at fostering inclusivity and addressing racial disparities within organisations. Moving forwards the Sporting Equals Charter team plan on creating a collaborative environment, through the use of a portal where members can engage with each other and share good practice. Yaegan aims to empower member organisations to share experiences and strategies, ultimately enhancing their capacity to promote race equality effectively.
FAVOURITE SPORTING MOMENT
In addition to professional pursuits, Yaegan enjoys playing football and golf, further embodying the values of teamwork and community that sports promote. Yaegan’s favourite sporting moment was the Arsenal Invincible season…COYG!
